The Leipzig Institute for Materials Research and Testing (MFPA Leipzig GmbH) is involved in all areas of construction and offers you one-stop complete solutions. Within the overall range of building and construction consisting of the five business divisions building materials, load-bearing structures and constructions, structural fire protection, building physics and geotechnics our experienced engineers and research assistants will provide you with professional advice and great commitment to help you realise your ideas.
 
As recognised testing, inspection and certifying authority we support you with building authority approvals and complete certifications of applicability and usability. Our core competences are the experimental performance tests of building materials, building components and building techniques
which are completed by verifying or validating numerical analyses and procedures.

In addition to mechanical, physical and chemical tests of building materials, building components and building techniques the MFPA Leipzig GmbH carries out research and development tasks for the industry and public clients. To solve these complex tasks we have state-of-the-art techniques and technologies and can fall back upon extensive and long-year experiences of our employees. Furthermore, we successfully cooperate with universities and colleges and integrate our knowledge in national and international technical bodies and committees. By this, a close interconnection between practical experience and research is facilitated and guarantees that you get advice at an up-to-date status of research and technology.

Our high standards and demands at tests as well as in research and development are based on our quality management system which orients itself towards the strict requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. The MFPA Leipzig GmbH maintains accredited testing laboratories by means of the DAkkS GmbH.
